  2. Computer Basics Continued -To get to a menu for a application or a item selected, you should right click it. The task plane is the area that goes across the bottom of the screen typically and it holds the things you are working on. The shortcut icon is used on the computer to open programs. The K:Drive is used to open items up from the teacher. To get a menu when clicking a icon, you have to “right click”

  3. Computer Basics Review - Double Click- if you double click on a icon it will open the file. To open an application a computer user should, double click on the desired (application) icon. Shortcut Icon- take you to another place quickly. Shortcut files can be used to launch programs in minimized or maximized window states if the program supports it quickly. To get a menu when clicking on an icon a user should right click on the desired location. By clicking the start button on the desk top, it will allow you to navigate and see a list of programs on your computer.

  4. Computer Basics Notes Cont. • The desktop on your computer takes up the most space because it shows all your icons and web shortcuts. It serves as the main page on your cpu. • The H: drive on your school computer is used to store your personal information. • The I:drive on your computer is used for using applications that arent stored on your computer.

  5. Computer Basics Continued To open a application from a icon you have to double click the icon to activate the program. A short cut is a icon that takes you to another place quickly.

  6. Photoshop Review To make two images appear in the same window, a user has to first open both images. Next the user will select the move tool and move one image into the other. To move a image the move tool should be selected. To resize a image after you have moved it, you press ctrl + T and it will give you the resizing option. The tool you use to desaturation a image is the eraser tool

Photoshop Review Cont. • When blending/fading two pictures together you use the gradient tool to initiate the blend. • When saving your Photoshop projects make sure you rename (save as) it to stop from saving over your original picture. • Use the zoom tool (magnifying glass) to zoom in and out on a image. • Create a layer mask before selecting the gradient tool to fade a image.
