  4. Indicators review • D. 7.1. Available on WP 7 downloads page of portal • Modified version presented at IIFET conference in Portsmouth, UK in July 2006 with mixed response.

  5. Fish Rulers (1) • Produced first version, Der Fisch-Max for the western Baltic in Sept. 2005 • Produced „improved“ version including fillet and headless lengths early 2006 • Produced prototypes for the North Sea and the US West Coast • German Verbraucherzentrale and Lighthouse foundation approached us to sponser and design latest version, der Fisch-o-Meter, with press release

  7. Data Collection • Gathered maturity and l-f data from ICES, NOAA and other reports from the North Atlantic and Pacific • Added these data to FishBase maturity table for use with online tools • Approx 80 new entries from these areas were made

  8. Online tools • Fish size buying guide (will show later) • Bycatch table (later database tool) • Spreadsheets for use within WP 7

  9. Publications • Common sense approach to Ecosystem-based fisheries management (submitted). • Global cost of overfishing– collaboration with WP 8 and hopefully WP 2
