OVERVIEW • Pioneering winery in the Wairau Valley – originally established in 1988 by a group of local wine growers and enthusiasts • First winery to plant and produce Pinot Gris in Marlborough • Home vineyards have a number of experimental vines for research and development • Fruit sourcing from home vineyard and premier sites throughout the Wairau, Waihopai & 17 Valleys • 118 hectares of vineyards planted to mostly Sauvignon Blanc, but also Riesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Semillon & Pinot Noir • Leader in sustainable practices

SUSTAINABILITY • Sustainability has been a focus since the winery’s inception in 1988 • Wetland established beside the winery to protect the Southern Bell Frog • Practices include: • Water recycling • Composting • Package recycling • Electric forklifts • Biological pest control • Under vine mowing to help eliminate use of artificial pesticides
