Founding-background • Bill and Carol Foley purchased the family owned, Sawyer Winery in 2012. • The estate was renamed Foley Johnson as a culmination of their dream and a tribute to their families’ heritage. • 50 Acre of Estate vineyards, located in the Heart of the Rutherford AVA and primarily planted to Bordeaux varietals. • Family’s Mission is to make wines that reflect our enduring commitment to quality, our spirit of achievement and ultimately the true authenticity of where our wines are grown. Winegrowing team • Born and raised in Sonoma County • Began winemaking career at Charles Krug • Was recruited over by Mr. Robert Mondavi, when he founded his winery, and remained and integral part of their pioneering winegrowing team for 30 years • 1995 first vintage as winemaker at Sawyer Cellars • David Ramey- consulting winemaker “The majority of our Foley Johnson wines come entirely from our vineyards in the Rutherford AVA. The Estate - Vineyards Main Ranch • Nearly 40 acres surrounding the winery that extend east from Hwy. 29 to the banks of the Napa River. • First plantings in 1984.. • 9.71acres of Cabernet, 9.99 of Merlot and small amounts of Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc & Sauvignon Musque. Peral Vineyards • Name derived from Spanish name, “pear” to pay tribute to the sites rich agricultural history. Today, amongst the vines, sits a singular 100 year old pear tree, left in place to honor the sites past heritage. • 8.8 acre site located on the southeastern portion of the property. • Planted entirely to Cabernet Sauvignon (clones 337, 4, 6, 7, 8).

Rutherford AVA “It takes Rutherford dust to grow great Cabernet.” - Andre Tchelistcheff • Size: 6 sq. miles with 3,518 acres of vineyard. 71% are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon. • Climate: Temperature is higher than other areas in Napa Valley. Region III. Warm summer days with cool evenings allows the fruit to ripen at a steady pace and retain acidity and balance. • Topography: Rutherford AVA does not extend above 500 feet in elevation. At Foley Johnson, the core of the vineyard is flat and adjacent to the Napa River, which lies 170 feet above sea level. • Soils:
