  2. Look for safety label: • Fabric toys= Flame resistant • Electric toys=UL approved • Stuffed toys / dolls= washable • Painted toys= Non-toxic

  3. Look for fine print: • “safe for use under adult supervision” • “caution! contains small parts”

  4. Look forage recommendations: • Not always accurate • Not guarantee for safety

  5. Under age 3 avoid: • Eyes, beads, squeakers, batteries, etc. • Use a “small objects tester”

  6. Under age 7 avoid: • Toys with motors/heating elements • Shooting games with projectiles or loud noises • Unbalanced riding toys • USE HELMETS!
