The Bédard Aquatics Center at CRC features an Olympic-sized pool primarily occupied by the swimming and diving teams during winter. For most of the year, it remains underutilized, with few users aside from occasional lap swimmers and students in physical education courses. To enhance engagement from students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members, innovative marketing strategies and program proposals are needed. This initiative will explore potential programs, fee structures, survey results, and a proposed logo to promote usage effectively.

The Issue The Bédard Aquatics Center at CRC has an Olympic-sized pool that is primarily used in the winter by the swimming and diving team. The rest of the year, it is almost empty seven days a week—except for the occasional lonely lap swimmer or students taking required physical education courses. How can we market this facility to students, faculty and staff, alumni, and community members to keep it busier?
