Scholarships • If applying for a scholarship through this college-Lawrence Epps • Must fill out the Scholarship application form • http://www2.kent.edu/caest/admissions-scholarships/index.cfm • When you apply for a scholarship you are applying a year ahead of time-so you have until Feb. 6, 2015 to apply for the 2015-2016 academic year • Once you have a GPA you may apply • Scholarship awards are merit based. Join clubs, organizations, teams etc. • Some awards are presented at the Vision 21 banquet in May. Donors often attend and expect to meet the students that have received/will be receiving their scholarship. Thank you letters to donors is always a great idea!!!!!! • Please take advantage-there are many out there.

Scholarship Homework Assignment • Choose a scholarship that you would like to receive • “Apply” for the scholarship- • Fill out application form, obtain letter of recommendation, and whatever else is necessary to apply • May choose a college scholarship or any KSU scholarship that would be appropriate
