  4. No single school has the comprehensive knowledge, skill-set, experience or contacts to bring about the engagement of learning which all young people in Scotland’s schools deserve. Partnership, among schools and between schools and other organisations, is the key.

  5. ‘School efforts are extended by activities offered by Community Learning and Development providers. Achievement Awards can play a significant role in offering opportunities to young people. • They can promote their skills and understanding for health and wellbeing particularly in terms of working with others, leadership and personal learning planning. • Achievement promotes the Curriculum for Excellence by accrediting young people’s development and progress in skills.
