The Maritime Safety Umbrella Operation (MSUO) aims to foster a safer maritime environment through collaboration across European and international networks. Future Project Requirements • “Strategic”: High level projects which deliver maritime safety and sustainable development; • “Eligible” Ensure Interreg projects meet eligibility criteria of Programmes (development and operational phases); • “Compatible” Maritime Projects should be developed in agreement with existing framework of maritime governance at international, European and member state level, and; • “Responsibility” Regional Organisations, Competent National Authorities and relevant European Authorities and Agencies should be involved and/or kept informed during project development.
