  2. Save the owl’s, save the owl’s, save the owl’s In the book Hoot by Carl Hiaasen I will convey to you about the summary, my favorite part, evaluation, the main idea, and the recommendation. Roy, a young teen has moved all over the country and finally dwelling in Florida and just began Trace Middle School. One day while on the bus heading to school, Roy perceives a boy running past the school bus. Roy now becomes on a mission with the running boy to help save a couple burrowing owls. On the day of the bulldozing of the owls, The running boy steps up to the plate and saves the owls. After that Roy never saw the running boy again and suspected that he went into hiding again My absolute favorite part in the book was when the running boy took Roy to the ocean and taught Roy how to catch mullets with his fingers. This also was the running boy’s nick name; Mullet fingers. I really enjoyed this part because the two kids got to know each other better. I f I were to rate this outstanding book, I would certainly rate it five outstanding stars. Why would I say five stars because this book catches the reader’s attention and makes the reader wane to keep on reading the breathtaking book. The main idea of the book I think is to believe in yourself and don’t listen to what other people say and stay focused. I recommend this book to people who like eye catching book with outstanding vocabulary and people who like adventure books. I hope you remember that protect wildlife and they will protect you to. Hoot is a great book and I really think that you should read it
