  6. Cost, payment and administration • As with all shore based courses, the price for training is set by the training centre. • Arrangement of final examination is expected to be by the training centre selling the training • Exam fee paid as a separate payment to the RYA.

  7. 2January 2014 – new system in place.Summary • Training centre continues to set and take course fees • Examination and training must be separated .i.e. separate examiner from instructor • Online option available, not compulsory • Training centre arranges and facilitates the exam
