  1. Objective • Student will define 5 new vocabulary words from the Job Application. • Students will identify the –ing rules by correcting the incorrect words. • Given the handout, the students will choose whether the verb should be in the PRESENT CONTINUOUS or the SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE by choosing “a” or “b” in 20 sentences.

  5. Rules: • Add –ing to most verbs • Reading • Working • Playing

  6. Rules: 2. When a verb ends in e, such as “write”, drop the e and add –ing. • Dance Dancing • Write writing
