  1. Wave Coast Interaction Questions Based on your observations develop three theories of resultant waves based on coastline shape. Based on this lab describe how beach erosion occurs. How did wave patterns change when they hit the jetties. Were the sea walls effective in preventing waves form reaching land and stopping beach erosion? Why or why not? How did wave patterns change once waves hit the island? What do we call this? You are a civil engineer responsible for developing a safe harbor based on the above diagram. Describe and diagram what you would do to make more safe?
