  2. When lesson planning, consider how we will give instructions for tasks. For each activity or assignment, think to ourselves "How can I convey this task clearly to the students?" In a language classroom, the students spend a lot of time working together on tasks and activities. It is very important that they get clear instructions so they know exactly how to do these activities. If the instructions are good and the students understand immediately, then they can start the activity without unnecessary problems and delays and make the very best use of their classroom time. The language we use for instructions must be appropriate for the level of our learners. We cannot expect our students to understand everything we say if we speak quickly and use English that is above their level. We need to plan exactly what we are going to say and how we are going to say it before the lesson. Then it is more likely that the students will understand us.
