  3. Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water.

  4. On top of the hill Jill became ill, and Jack ran to fetch their father.

  5. Jack ran and ran and ran and ran as fast as his little legs would.

  6. And when he reached the door to their house, he knocked as hard as he could.

  7. “She’s ill, she’s ill!” yelled Jack about Jill.

  8. “We must hurry back and bring Doctor Bill!”

  9. “Doctor Bill, she’s ill!” yelled Jack about Jill. “Can you come help her at the top of the hill?”

  10. So Jack, his father, and Doctor Bill ran as fast as they could back to the top of the hill.

  11. “Oh Jill! Oh Jill!” cried Jack. “I’ve brought dad and Doctor Bill.”

  12. “Oh I’m not ill, Jack” laughed Jill. “There was a bee. I was just being still!”

  13. Everyone was shocked! They were sure that Jill was very seriously ill.

  14. They all began to laugh. They laughed and laughed and laughed until…

  15. They ALL went tumbling down the hill!
