  2. We want to approximate Czech cuisine to our Swedish friends

  3. Influence by other countries • Czech cuisine has been influenced by many other cuisines • In Czech cuisine is influence by German (especially Bavarian), Austrian and by other Slavic cuisines

  4. Typical czech meals • Fried cheese (Smažený sýr) – usually Edam

  5. Potato pancake (Bramborák or Cmunda) • Made of potatoes, flour, eggs, garlic and marjoram

  6. Czechs don´t eat lot of sea fish • They eat freshwater fish (especially carp on Christmas)

  7. Soup • Czechs like soup before main course • Typical Czech soups are bramboračka, kulajda, and kyselo

  8. Bramboračka • Made of potatoes, mushrooms, carrot, celery, parsley, garlic and marjoram

  9. Kulajda • Made of cream, mushrooms, potatoes and eggs

  10. Dumplings • Dumplings (Knedlíky) are typical Czech dish • Threetypes - made of potatoes - made of bread roll - fruit dumplings (sweet)
