  1. Joseph Brown PTA News August 2013 Welcome back everyone!! The start of the school year is a great time to start or renew healthy habits. This year let’s all work together to emphasize how healthy habits can lead to success, whether in the classroom or on the playing field. Parent/Teacher Conferences August 27th Spirit Night October 24th October 4th- Fall Pictures 8:00 am Grandparents Day Come enjoy a yummy lunch with your grandchild on September the 10th. Save the Date Our annual Pioneer Night is scheduled for September 13th. Our pioneer week is the 9th -13th. Please go ahead and mark your calendars. More information to come. Cross Country Begins Cross Country practice begins Tuesday the 27th. It will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15 to 4pm. You must have turned in your forms and physicals to participate. Meets will be held on September 25th and October 2nd at Baker Elementary. Box Tops Please keep collecting box tops. You can turn them into your child’s teacher. The class with the most box tops wins a party and it also provides money for our school. We need your voice and support!! Please come be a part of the PTA. Our first PTA meeting is September 4th at 4:00 in the cafeteria. Everyone is welcome!! Hope to see you there! Fall Break October 7th-11th October 17th  Parent Literacy Event (Artist in Residence)

Joseph Brown Elementary’s PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a parent-sponsored and funded organization whose mission is to positively impact, support and enhance the overall learning environment at Brown. The PTA staffs and supports classroom programs, parent communication projects and community-based programs. The PTA is a parent organization.  We need YOUR participation, ideas and support.
