Solar Energy A solar pannel is made of specia cells which have two layers One of these layers has far more electrons than the other When sunlight hits the cell,the electrons become excited They start to jump over to the layers with more electons This flow of electrons is what we call electricity,and it can be harnessed to power anything from calculators to cars A
