Detention Management – Intro The Detentions side-tab allows you to: Track served detentions Multiple detention sessions per day Automatically close actions Take detention attendance A roster of students with unserved detentions on a specified date appears. When a student is marked present, a Detention Served record is created, giving them credit for a single detention. Detention actions are automatically closed when the number of detentions served matches the action penalty time. Students are removed from the roster when they have no outstanding detentions. A detention action is identified by its Action Code, which is backed by the Conduct Action reference table. Codes with a value of "DetMgt" in the federal code field are considered detention codes.
