  3. Lansing Mayor VirgBernero on Fox News, November 18, 2008 (2 days before the GET City community forum) • http://www.foxbusiness.com/video/index.html?playerId=videolandingpage&streamingFormat=FLASH&referralObject=3207468&referralPlaylistId=undefined Shari’s fieldnotes from 11/25/08 In our GET City session on 11/25/08, Jazzy explained that she had been talking to LeRoy Harvey about the auto bailout. I proceeded to ask her if she could make a connection between what we were talking about in Get City (like alternative energy and global warming) and the bailout and she immediately responded that she could. She said that some people didn’t think the auto industry was doing the right thing because they were making cars that used too much fuel, but there are cars that could use less fuel and go further like 36 mpg. When I asked Jazzy where she had heard about all this, she responedthat she had heard Mayor VirgBernero (Lansing’s Mayor) on the news talking about the bailout. At this time, she said she was interested in doing her psa on something about the auto industry and the bailout.
