  2. GEOGRAPHY IF EGYPT The ancient Egyptians thought of Egypt as being divided into two types of land, the 'black land' and the 'red land'. The 'black land' was the fertile land on the banks of the Nile. The 'red land' was the barren desert that protected Egypt on two sides.

  3. EGYPT IS TRANSCONTINENTAL COUNTRY Egypt is a transcontinental country spanning the northeast corner of Africa and southwest corner of Asia, via a land bridge formed by the Sinai Peninsula. Most of its territory of 1,010,000 square kilometers lies within the Nile Valley of North Africa and is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Gaza Strip and Israel to the northeast, the Gulf of Aqaba to the east, the Red Sea to the east and south, Sudan to the south and Libya to the west.

  4. . THE NILE: THE GIFT OF EGYPT The Nile is the longest river in the world, stretching north for approximately 4,000 miles from East Africa to the Mediterranean. The Nile flows from the mountains in the south to the Mediterranean in the north.

  5. CAIRO: THE CAPITAL OF THE EGYPT Cairo is the capital of Egypt and is the largest city in Africa, as well as the Middle East. Its name means "the victorious city" and it is known locally as "Misr", the Arabic name for Egypt. This is because of its centrality in Egyptian life.

  6. PYRAMID OF EGYPT Among the major tourist sites, there is only one considered to be “The major” and on top of any list - The Pyramids of Giza. There are three main Pyramids here, which were built in the 4th Dynasty (circa 4650 B.C). The Pyramids of Ancient Egypt were built as tombs for Kings (and Queens), and it was the exclusive privilege to have a Pyramid tomb. • The Pyramid of Khafre • The Pyramid of Menkaure • The Great Sphinx

PHILOSOPHY OF RELIGION IN EGYPT Ancient Egypt Philosophy & Religion Religion provided a sense of security and timelessness for the Egyptians."Egyptians had no word for religion because it was an inseparable element of the world order to which Egyptian society belonged. Egyptians were polytheistic, remarkable number of gods. Importance of Religion, Religion guided every aspect of Egyptian Life and importance of Religion Main Egyptian Gods and Goddesses Since Egypt looked up to their many gods, and respected them, their society was good.
