Facts • The Ford GT40 was made in the 1960’s and was unable finish at nurburgring or 24 hours Le Mans in 1964-1965, but even though it didn’t finish Ford still saw potential in it and made the MKII in 1966 which placed first, second, and third in 24 hours Le Mans in 1966. • The GT40 shortly after winning Le Mans went racing all over the world, including two more Le Mans events in 1998 and 1999.
