Pasteurella multocida Active Pasteurella multocida Pasteurella multocida Active Pasteurella multocida toxin (full length) (DAG-P2722) toxin (full length) (DAG-P2722) This product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic use. PRODUCT INFORMATION PRODUCT INFORMATION Product Overview Product Overview Active Pasteurella multocida toxin full length protein Antigen Description Antigen Description Pasteurella multocida toxin (PMT) is produced by a gram-negative bacillus, Pasteurella multocida. PMT activates the Gq and G12/13 dependent signaling pathways. Gq and G12/13 are alpha subunits of the GTP trimer bound protein of animal cells. It does not activate the G11 dependent pathway although G11 is similar to Gq. This toxin binds to an unidentified receptor and then is introduced into the cells by endocytosis and starts to function then. Therefore it does not function on cells without the receptor or defective in the endocytosis pathway.
