  4. THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA The Great Wall is one of the largest building construction projects ever completed. It was over 5,000 km (=10,000 Li) long. Its thickness ranged from about 4.5 to 9 meters (15 to 30 feet) and was up to 7.5 meters (25 feet) tall.

  5. CHINA’S CLIMATE Northern China is colder than Southern China. Western China is Dryer than The Eastern China.

  6. China’s Economy Chinese currency is called renminbi China is the largest economy in the world.

  7. The most recent disaster in china • One really big disaster that hit china was the earth quake that occurred May 12, 2008. The quake, which had a 7.9 magnitude, was centered in a mountainous region of the country in the Sichuan Province.

  8. Ethnic Groups China has 55 different ethnic group among their country.
