Conference Goals Membership development and diversification Address both the opportunities and challenges surrounding membership growth and diversification Gain the knowledge and competencies to seize these opportunities and overcome the challenges Achieve a better understanding of the programmes, resources and opportunities offered by WAGGGS and the Region Gain clarity around the Global and Regional Membership Strategies Participate and contribute to the consultation session on 2015-2017 Global strategic plan and MDS

Expectations • Take advantage of networking opportunities • Develop relationships with your sister MOs and supporting staff and volunteers • Soak in as much information as possible and share best practices • Enter conversations with honesty and respect – it’s ok to discuss our challenges! • Ensure all conference documentation has been read • Come fully prepared to each session • Share all learnings gained at the conference with all members of your association’s National Board/Council
