  2. The Answer • “They all said, let him be crucified” (22) • “They handed Him over because of envy” (18) • Envy can destroy innocent life • Envy blinds from the value of Christ • The envious quickly reject the Truth

  3. Pilate’s Question • “What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” (22) • Everyone must face this question (Matt 28:19; Mk 16:15). • The brightest & most promising. • The irreligious. • The pursuers of every religion.

  4. The Options • “Don’t Get Involved” • By leaving Him for someone else to deal with (Matt 27:19)

  5. The Options • “Ignore Him” • By refusing to greet one another (Rom 16:16; 1 Cor 16:20; 2 Cor 13:12; 1 Pet 5:14) • By failing to show affection for one another (Rom 12:10)

  6. The Options • “Ignore Him” • By forgetting to be hospitable to one another (1 Pet 4:9; Rom 12:13) • By neglecting the needs of the least among us (Rom 12:13; Matt 25:45) • By disregarding His commands in marriage (Eph 5:22, 25)

  7. The Options • “Keep Quiet About Him” • By succumbing to peer Pressure (Jn 9:22; 12:42-43)

  8. The Options • “Wait Before You Decide” • By viewing salvation as a matter for tomorrow (Lk 9:59-62; 2 Cor 6:2)

  9. The Personal Cost • Living without Him shuts out His blessings (Psa 23).

  10. The Lord is my Shepherd Relationship With God! I shall not want Full Supply! He maketh me to lie down in green pastures Peace of mind! He leadeth me beside the still waters Refreshment! He restoreth my soul Healing – Forgiveness! He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness Guidance!For His name sake Purpose!

  11. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death Testing! I will fear no evil Protection!For Thou art with me Faithfulness! Thy rod & Thy staff they comfort me Discipline!

  12. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies Sufficiency – Acceptance – Hope! Thou annointest my head with oil Consecration! My cup runneth over –Abundance! Surely goodness & mercy shall follow me all the days of my life Grace!And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Security! Forever Eternity!

  13. By refusing Christ you have not these blessings:God as your Shepherd! FullSupply! Peace of mind! Refreshment! Forgiveness! Guidance! Purpose! Protection!Faithfulness! Discipline! Hope! Consecration! Abundance! Grace! Security! Eternity!

  14. The Personal Cost • Dying without Him should cause us to shudder (2 Thess 1:7-9). • Banished from the presence of God for all eternity.
