Purpose of the donor survey • Allow better planning of assistance in the field of statistics • Coordination: avoid overlap of projects • Create more transparency for donors • More predictability for beneficiary • Easier to prioritise for the NSIs • Benefit from experience of other projects • Improving dialogue between beneficiaries and donors

About the donor survey • Data from donors and beneficiaries • Completed between 1 January 2015-31 March 2016 • On-going between 1 January 2015-31 March 2016 • Planned implementation foreseen from April 2016 • Older projects deleted • Projects with no amount not included in tables • Some projects include non-statistical components • Missing information in some projects

  4. Some new features of the 2016 donor survey • The ENP South countries included • More exhaustive coverage of statistical area/domain • Budget support and loans added as type of assistance • Croatia is an EU Member State – still included as receiving technical assistance
