  1. Pinch pot Lantern • You will create a functional lantern using the pinch method for the entire piece. • Lantern must contain a body with windows, lid, handle on lid. • No area should be thicker than an inch. • Windows can be any sizeandamount but shape must be abstract -meaning it does not represent an image ( see cliché poster ). • Lantern body must be large enough to hold a battery operated tealight candle with flame. Remember clay shrinks so give yourself enough space. • Lantern should be no larger than 6 inches in one direction.
