  3. P Sometime during class tonight we will prove the following theorem: Crossbar Theorem: If is between and , then intersects segment BC. We’ve seen stranger lines than this, haven’t we !! Do you remember how to prove it? None of Euclid’s postulates or any of the incidence axioms says that the diagram can’t look like this. (ii) If A and B are on opposite sides of l and if B and C are opposite sides of l, then A and C are on same side of l. Corollary (iii) If A and B are on opposite sides of l and if B and C are on the same side as l, then A and C are on opposite sides of l.
