Compound Images Hare + Curlers = Hare Curlers In your sketchbook, create a compound image that is made up of two (or more) images. Think of a compound word and illustrate how it is made. Example: butter + fly = butterfly. Or, you can subtract from a compound word: butterfly – butter = fly. Approach your drawing like a math problem. You must use color pencils to model the entire drawing. That means to use the color pencils to add color and values and make the drawings look 3D. Fill the page. There is no border. Tooth + Brush = Toothbrush
