CAMP COMER 16490 County Road 89Mentone, AL 35984-2323 Troop 350 Summer Camp 1 - 7 July 2012 Camp Features: Rappelling and Climbing Tower:  The 50 foot structure is available for Climbing MB and during troop activity time.  Shooting Sports:  The Shooting Sports Ranges present a safe setting for shooting 12 and 20 gauge shotguns, .22 caliber rifles, and archery.      Waterfront:  The Waterfront Area offers Swimming, Sailing, Rowing, Motor boating, kayaking and Canoeing .  COPE:  Both High and Low courses are included.  Adults and Scouts over 13 may participate.    Eagle Bound Program:  First year campers learn basic outdoor skills and the patrol method. Important Sign-up Information: Health Form:  Scouts and Adults must have updated BSA health form on file with the troop. Merit Badge Sign-up:CampMasters will provide schedule for Merit Badge Classes and assist with sign-up during March and April troop meetings CampMasters:  Mr. Paul Lubeski and Mr. Brad Gass Camp Costs: $245 per Scout Payments Due $75 due by 6 Feb 12 $75 due by 9 Apr 12 $95 due by 21 May12 Additional Activities Available: White Water Rafting: $60 (must be 12 yrs old by July 1st 2012 and BSA Swimmer)-Whitewater-rafting trip down the Ocoee River. Mountain Man :$40 (must be 13 yrs old by July 1st 2012)- participants will focus their attention solely on activities needed to survive in nature. Comer HD : $40 (must be 13 yrs old by July 1st 2012)- Activities include kayaking the Little River, climbing and bouldering on natural rock surfaces, mountain biking, and a brand new paint ball skills course.
