  2. San Isabel Scout Ranch • Located approximately 75 miles south of Colorado Springs about 18 miles west of the of I-25 • San Isabel CO • Owned by the Rocky Mountain Council in Pueblo CO • Options for Camping – Great Sand Dunes – 16 July 2011

San Isabel Scout Ranch • Cost - $190 if paid by 15 Apr 11 (This Friday) • Cost $210 is paid after 15 Apr 11 • San Isabel Scout Ranch Activities • Aquatics – Canoeing, Rowing, Small-Boat Sailing • Handicraft – Leatherwork, Woodcarving, Indian Lore • Ecology – Environ. Science, Astronomy, Nature, etc. • Health Lodge – First Aid • Shooting Sports – Archery, Rifle, Shotgun • Outdoor Program – Camping, Backpacking, Emer. Prep

San Isabel Scout Ranch • Baden Powel Program – SISR Equivalent to First Class Trail • Morning or Afternoon Program to help new scouts advance to the First Class Rank • Troop 7 will take advantage of the Patrol Cooking Program • Boys enjoyed this option at MMSR last year and elected to cook their own food this year • Medical Forms – Must have a physical to attend camp – Forms will be sent to Parents soon. • Gear List and Miscellaneous – Scout Book and Camp list to be sent to Parents in next couple weeks.

  5. San Isabel Scout Ranch • Transportation – Troop will organize drivers for drop and pick-up depending on the tour plan • Closing Campfire – Friday Night Campfire Parents can attend • Trading Post – Snacks, Merit Badge Books, Handicraft, etc. • Mail – Boys can receive mail at SIRS – Address to be provided before departure for camp
