Boy Scout Summer Camp – HHCSR 2016 Camp Fees: $265 Early sign up with “early bird” deposit $100 “early bird” deposit due Feb 22, 2016 Remaining registration fee ($165) is dueApril 4 NOTE: A Second week of camp is only$200 – go two weeks! Non “Early Bird” registration after Mar 4this $280 Registration after May 6 is $305 NOTE: Troop 560 Scouts may get a 5% discount if the Troop families contribute well to the Friends of Scouting Campaign Excellent Value: Other camps are much higher $$ ($400+) and have limited programs for advancement

Boy Scout Summer Camp – HHCSR 2016 Camperships are available – Talk to the Camp Coordinator If the Scout/family qualifies, payment breakdown would be: 1/3 Boy, 1/3 Unit, 1/3 Council Please contact the Camping Committee Chair/Camp Director for any extenuating circumstances or questions. The goal is to get every scout who desires to go to camp the opportunity to fulfill their dream.

  7. Boy Scout Summer Camp – HHCSR 2016 Changes Eagle Quest – Develops Tenderfoot, 2nd Class and 1st Class skills for first time at Boy Scout summer camp. Will run in the morning with specific times for specific ranks (boys can sign up for all if they wish). Overnight/Outpost Program – New program and new experience for Thursday night! COPE/Climbing – Morning for MB, afternoon for COPE. Rifle Merit Badge times – are now 90 minute blocks. Pistol will only be available week 3 due to training req. 7

  8. Boy Scout Summer Camp – HHCSR 2016for older Scouts and Scouters STEM Mentoring – age 13+ Engines and Crunches Start your Engines! July 24-26 ($100) This program will explorer how your life is affected by technology every day. Make a model Vehicle! Learn about circuits Build a model circuit Learn how to solder Work on Electronics Merit Badge, Electricity Merit Badge, and NOVA Start Your Engines Award!

Boy Scout Summer Camp – HHCSR 2016for older Scouts and Scouters COPE Experience the next level–July 19-21, ($125), age 14+ • Spend three days and two nights working with fellow campers to accomplish the tasks of the Howard H. Cherry Scout Reservation, Aegon Challenge Course. • Develop plans for the Tire traverse, the Giant’s finger, the whale watch and 15 more unique and challenging low course events. • Then help your team with the Burma Bridge, Balance Beam, Two Wire Travers, Cargo Net, Centipede, Giant’s Ladder Confidence Pole and our 300’ zip line.

Boy Scout Summer Camp – HHCSR 2016for older Scouts and Scouters Marksmanship – July 27-29, ($125), age 14+ • For those that have earned Rifle or Shotgun merit badge. • Learn to sight a rifle, improve accuracy, score competition targets. • Three days and two nights of improving your abilities and safety with firearms.

Boy Scout Summer Camp – HHCSR 2016for older Scouts and Scouters Camp to Camp to Camp: Ultimate Iowa High Adventure –July 7-15, (~$300), age 14+ • Horseback Riding at Ingawanis High Adventure Base • 50 Mile Bike Ride from Ingawanis to Backbone State Park • Mountain Biking at Camp CS Klaus • Kayaking at the Manchester Water Park • Climbing and Rappelling at Pictured Rocks
