WSU GOES GREEN

Winona State University (WSU) has pledged to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 as an early signatory of the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment (ACUPCC). The recently published Climate Action Plan outlines strategies such as LEED silver standards for new construction and a robust emphasis on transportation alternatives, including the Purple Bike and Zipcar programs. Additionally, the university is engaged in various energy conservation measures, including upgrading building systems and installing energy-efficient fixtures, to achieve sustainable and effective energy management.
