General • Elements Suport Group (ESG) will coordinate Logistics / Administration / Protocol / Security / Media issues. • ESG will organize Observer / Press Tour • Draft Handbook needs input from other WG. • CIQ, Clearance, Logistic arrangement are prepared in the Draft Handbook which will be distributed at the end of FPC January 2014.

  4. Security Anticipation • Emergencies during Exercise: • Land : Police, • Sea : Marine Police and Navy • Disputes between the participants and the local

ESG WG TASKS: • Organizing VVIP, VIP / Observer / Media • Organizing Opening/Closing Ceremony • Rundown of event, Security/safety, Stage, Big Screen • Support CIQ / Participants Permit Procedure • Organizing pers conference / briefing • Logistic arrangement e.g. Conference room, equipment, etc • Consumption Setting • Security Setting • Administration Arrangement, e.g: ID Card, documentation, finance, Paperwork

  7. CIQ Arrangement ( Clearance & Licencing ) • Normal Procedures, Rules and requirements (will be informed in MM DiREx Handbook). • Imigration Permit: • Be processed ASAP, • Contact embassy abroad; • Custom Processed 30 days prior to arrival • Quarantine (Animal/K-9): 30 days prior to arrival (In and Out) • Flight Approval: 10 days prior to arrival • Medical Licencing / Credential: 45 days prior to arrival • Licenses for special Vehicles: 30days prior to arrival

  8. Logistic Team Tasks: • unloading / disembarkation • Use tools for unloading • Storage to warehouse • Distributing logistical to the exercise location • Controlling logistic in place/exercise location • Utilizing resources / local power

  9. Security/Safety Tasks: • Personnel: VVIP / VIP, guest, participant and supporting. • Asset : Military / civil, vehicle, Plane, Ship and other asset. • Lokation : Opening/Closing Location, hotel, Seaport, Exercise Location, and maritim route. • Aktivities: before and during Exercise surround Padang and Mentawai Area

NOTES • Mentawai Site Survey participants to be gathered at Lobby on Monday 26 agustus 2013 at18.00 WIB • The Committee set up for the bus heading the Darmaga to mentawai. • Padang City Site Survey participants to be gathered at Lobby Hotel at 08.30 WIB, Tuesday 27 Agustus2013. • Organizer set up for Bus (Site survey Padang city) • Each bus has Participant tag. • Dress code is smart casual/neat clother • To Wear ID CArds.
