Important Announcements & Upcoming Events for Kiwanis Club Members

Join us for the Kiwanis Pie Sale starting today! Every 2 pies sold earns you 1 hour of attendance, so sell as many as you can! Remember, attendance is crucial for letter eligibility—80% minimum is required. Several committees are forming, including the School Service Projects led by Tyler Smith, and the Tutoring Committee. Don’t forget upcoming events like the Royal Oaks Parent Night Out and the Pumpkin Patch. Our next general meeting is on Nov. 2nd. Check your email for updates and enjoy the beautiful fall weekend!

  2. Kiwanis Pie Sale • Please welcome our Woodbury Kiwanis Advisor, Mr. Larry McFadden! • BEGIN SELLING TODAY! • 2 pies = 1 hour, no limit

  3. Attendance • Will be taken at the end each meeting INSIDE the lecture hall • Organized by last name • Put a mark on the column with the correct date • Please ONLY check yourself in – no one else • Keep in mind • 80% of meetings attended – required to letter • Failure to attend a meeting without notification – 1 strike

Committees • Adding one more committee • School Service Projects (i.e. boardwashing) • 30 people – headed by Tyler Smith • Can only sign up for ONE committee • Cross out your name if you are in more than 1 committee • Tutoring Committee – tutoring at Woodbury Lutheran Church/elementary schools are reserved only to these members

Event Reminders • Royal Oaks Parent Night Out • tonight – 5:45 – 9:10pm • Pullman Elementary Carnival • Tomorrow – 3 – 5:45pm and 5:45 – 7 pm • Bailey Elementary Book Fair • Oct. 16th – 3-6pm • Pumpkin Patch @ Lake Middle School • Oct. 20th – 8-10am for setup, 9:45-1pm • Colby Lake Invasive Removal • Oct. 20th – 8:30-12:30pm • Need a waiver form filled out – I will email it to you • Monster Mash @ WHS Activity Center • Oct. 26th – 5:45-8:45pm

Upcoming Events • Middleton Elementary Halloween Bash • Friday, Oct. 26th --- 5-9:15pm • Sign Up Genius (Online) – there are various shifts • Counting Box Tops • Woodbury Middle School – 25-30 volunteers • Friday, Oct. 26th --- 6-10pm • UNICEF Trick or Treat • $10 = 1 hour • Turn in the money collected to Room 132 • Feed My Starving Children – 15 volunteers • Wednesday, Nov. 14th 6 – 7:30pm @ Eagan location • Carpool – need adult volunteers (please put a star next to your name if your parent can drive/help out --- 1 extra hour if you bring a parent)
