  1. Key Club Sept. 9th Meeting

  2. Welcome Back! Get ready for an awesome year!

  3. Developments • New Meeting Dates – 2x a month, different times • New members meeting – Sept. 18th • Recruit a member and get a point! (have them mention you – they have to fully register & actually participate in order to get the point) • T-shirts!!! • Expect late fall, early winter

  4. Registration – Due Friday Sept. 26th! • Dues are $15 • Required by Kiwanis International • Part goes towards scholarships! • Application/ Contact Form • Parent permission slip • Student activities fee – $40

  5. Hour Requirements • Total hours per year 30 • 15 Key Club organized hours • 15 Non-Key Club organized hours • All Key Club meetings count as ½ hour • 3 “hours” deadlines per year • 1st deadline- Thursday 12/18 • 10 total hours (Min. 5 KC, Min. 5 Non-KC) • 2nd deadline- Thursday 3/12 • 10 total hours (Min. 5 KC, Min. 5 Non-KC) • 3rd deadline- Thursday 5/21 • 10total hours (Min. 5 KC, Min. 5 Non-KC) • You must come to the meeting with your time card filled out (see handout)

First Hours Deadline • Thursday, December 18th • 10 Total Hours Completed • Minimum of 5 Key Club Hours • Minimum of 5 Non – Key Club Hours • Summer Hours (maximum of 5 upon approval) • You cannot use NHS hours • Fill out an event/hours sheet to submit hours • This will be turned in at the meeting • It’s very important to keep track of your own hours!
