  1. Key Club11.06.13 Thanks for Coming! Please take a seat in the FRONT of the auditorium!

  2. Happy Key Club Week! • Key Club has been playing in the hallways during the passing periods • Candy! • DONATIONS at lunch! • Everyone wear your Key Club T-shirt on T-shirt Thursday! • Volunteer as much as possible, or just be as caring as you can be 

  3. Thank You! • You did a terrific job and our Y appreciates all your time and efforts! (YMCA) • Your volunteers are always excited and have tons of spirit! (Warrenville Park District) • You guys are life-savers and we appreciate all the help you provide us with! (Wheaton Park District)

  4. Key Club Week Drive Donations…Raffle…Prizes!! • Bring Donations to lunch, or room 117!! • Items: Tic Tacs, puzzle books, packs of gum, beef jerky (individually wrapped), powdered drink packets, and hand-held/battery operated games.

  5. NAMI Letters • When: Nov. 6, 7, and 8 4-6pm (5 Spots/day) • Where: NAMI’s Office (2100 Manchester Rd. Bldg. B, Suite 925. Wheaton) • What: Helping stuff envelopes and mail appeal letters. Quick, easy hours.

  6. Stadium Decorations (6 Spots) • When: THIS FRIDAY ! Nov. 8th • Stadium Decorations: 215-4pm Stay a few minutes after the game to pop balloons • What: Setting up the balloons, banners, etc. for the game! • Where: Meet by the ticket booth

  7. Pediatric Drive Donation • What: CDH children 12 and under • Who: Through the Junior moms • What: Rattles, teethers, small baby bath toys, coloring books, crayons, hair bows, lip closs, matchbox cars, toy plastic animals, tonka trucks, markers, legos, etc.

  8. Childcare @ Johnson Elementary • Tues. Nov. 5 (CANCELLED), Nov. 12 and 19 • Thurs. Nov. 7 (CANCELLED), 14 and 21 • 6-8:40pm (3 volunteers per day) • Parent/Teacher Conferences • Tues Nov 5th and Thurs Nov 7th • 4-6pm and 6-8pm (FULL)

  10. Cheaper By the Dozen Play (10 SPOTS OPEN) • When: Nov 8, 9 (6-9pm) (FULL) and Nov 3 and 10 (2-5pm) • Where: Intersection of Manning Ave and Warren Ave. Warrenville • What: Ushering for the show, keeping kids occupied back stage via coloring, board games, etc. There is a dog in the show.

  11. ESSE Pancake Breakfast (1 SPOT OPEN) • When: Sat. Nov. 9th • 7am-11am (1 SPOT OPEN) • 11am-1:30pm (6 Spots) (FULL) • Where: St Paul Lutheran Church • (515 S.Wheaton Ave. Wheaton) • What: Table serving, selling raffle tickets, helping in the kitchen.  • Don’t wear pants with holes!

  12. Madison Multicultural Day (FULL) • When: Thurs Nov 14th 4pm-5pm (15 Spots) • Where: Madison Elementary School (1620 Mayo Ave. Wheaton) • What: Decorating classrooms for multicultural day with parents. A quick, easy hour!

  13. “Lend Me a Tenor” Show Ushering (FULL) • When: Thursday - Nov. 14 - 6:30pm (Full) Friday - Nov. 15 - 6:30pm (Full) Saturday - Nov. 16 - 6:30pm (Full) • Ushers shirts will be supplied. Each usher should wear either black or khaki pants - no shorts, sweats or jeans • Expect to stay ½ an hour after the show ends

  14. AAUW Book Drive DUE NEXT WEEK!!!! • 1 Hour/couple of books • That means more than 3! • What You Can Donate: Chapter books, picture books, etc. NOT textbooks, audiobooks, or CD’s. • Due By: Nov. 13th

  15. School Supply Donation • Glue sticks • Sharpened pencils / NOT mechanical • Student-size scissors • Colored pencils • Small Pencil Cases • Donations to 117 (Miss Angelillo’s Room) • Ends Nov 22nd (T-giving Break)

  16. Long Term Events • PADS- 5-10 volunteers • First Monday of the Month (next one is Nov 4th) • 530-8pm @ Wheaton Episcopal Church • Set up beds for overnight guests and serve meals • Flexible on time if you have to leave early • Lincoln Students Tutoring – 10 volunteers • 20-25 elementary students working on homework. Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1753 S Blanchard, each Tuesday 6:30-7:30 PM.

  17. Long Term Events • Connection of Friends - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 3-6, and Saturday nights from 6-9 • Power Hour Tutoring – Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the Edison LLC from 3:10-4:20pm (2 needed) • WDSRA – Info meetings: 10/1, 11/5, 6:30pm – 8:00pm; WDSRA Office (Boardroom) , 116 N. Schmale Rd; Carol Stream, IL. 60188 • Peoples’ Resource Center • See us if interested
