Changes to data series include: • Updated 2012 figures; • Minor corrections; • July Workshop agreed to add: • Early EU (Polish) catches; • Cook Islands catch in 2007; • Ukraine catches in 1992. • New early data from Peru (pre 1970); • Updated data set from Chile (Fleet 1 & 2) and extended back to 1963;

  3. Latest catch figures • Previous CJM Stock assessments used provisional catch figure's for the latest year; • The data task team decided that catch estimates for the latest year would be preferred; • A comparison between the 2012 provisional figures and the final 2012 figures was conducted;

  4. 2013 full year catch estimates • The observed percent difference in 2012 was used to factor up the 2013 figures; • Then the Members and CNCPs were asked if they agreed with the proposed estimates; • Chile (Fleet 1), China and Peru asked that their 2013 estimates be increased as they expect to catch additional fish in the later part of the year;
