Key Dates – EOC Fall Mid-Month • Test Setup opened in eDIRECT on July 22 • Reminder – EOC Mid-Month assessments are online only • Exceptions are for students needing Braille or paper Large-Print as an accommodation • COS-SD was updated on June 27 (v.3.0) • INSIGHT v.9.0 will work through August 29. INSIGHT v10.0 (iPad v10.0.1) will need to be installed for September MM and beyond • State Testing Windows • August 5–23 • September 9–20 • October 7–18 • November 4–15 • Preliminary reports posted in eDIRECT • 10 business days from submission of all sections of a test for ELA and Math • 5 business days from submission of all sections of a test for Science and Social Studies • Final (paper) reports to be shipped with EOC Winter Reports 5

Key Dates – EOC Winter Main • Enrollments opens August 12 • Enrollments must be completed by Friday, August 23, 8 pm ET • Materials to be shipped 10 working days in advance of district testing window. • Thanksgiving break dates are considered non-working days • Test Setup opens in eDIRECT on October 21 • State Testing Window is November 18, 2019 – January 8, 2020 • Preliminary reports posted in eDIRECT • 10 business days from submission of all sections of a completed test after validation of initial test results for ELA and Math • 5 business days from submission of all sections of a completed test after validation of initial test results for Science and Social Studies • Final (paper) reports arrive in districts no later than February 21 6

  9. What’s New – eDIRECT • The primary navigation of eDIRECT is being refreshed. • Deliver easier, more intuitive navigation 9

What’s New – Student Status • The legacy version of the Student Status search functionality has been removed from eDIRECT. • The dynamic Student Status Dashboard which has been available for the past couple years will be the method for conducting status searches. • Search results remain the same but are accessed through one link in eDIRECT rather than two. 11

  12. What’s New – INSIGHT and COS-SD • Beginning on the evening of June 27, new versions of Central Office Services (COS-SD v3.0) and DRC INSIGHT v.10 were made available in eDIRECT under the Downloads tab. 12

  13. What’s New – Technology User Guide, eDIRECT User Guide, & System Requirements • Updated System Requirements posted to eDIRECT June 27 (effective through October). What’s New – Winter Enrollment • EOC Assessments are administered by districts and charter school 100% online for 2019-2020 • You will no longer order paper EXCEPT for students with disabilities that do not allow the student to access a computer • Sites will no longer need to provide paper return dates during enrollment • Test Administrations Manuals (TAMs) • DRC will prepopulate enrollments with the number of TAMs each site received for winter 2018. • Sites can leave as-is if these quantities are sufficient or adjust accordingly if this year’s needs have changed. • The TAM you receive for the EOC Winter administration is also the manual for future 2019-2020 testing administrations, unless notified • Spring Mid-Month, Spring, Summer, & Fall Mid-Month 14

Enrollments • Provide information to support online testing • Provide order quantities for accommodated student materials • Enrollment information should be entered at the system level and at the school level for each participating school • End of Course Winter 2019 Main Administration only • August 12 – 23 (closes 8:00 pm EDT) • Once the enrollment window has closed, the data will become view-only 28

Enrollments • Log into eDIRECT • https://ga.drcedirect.com • From the top navigation pane, select Enrollments under the Materials group. • Select School = “(All)” to enter system-level enrollment information • Select each participating School to enter school-level enrollment information • When entering Enrollments, you can save your work and continue at a later time by clicking the Save button. When all quantities are entered, you should click the Complete button. • Be sure to scroll to see all of the questions! 29

State Charter Schools must choose “All” for School to get to the District level. 30

Please do not simply use the same date for all EOCs unless that is an accurate reflection of your testing window. • It is incorrect and inappropriate to note the entire state test window as an EOC course local test date. • Holiday/Break Date/Window • Thanksgiving • Winter • Winter Graduation Ceremony Date • Date of first winter graduation ceremony • Dates will be provided in drop-down format. 31

Enrollments – School level • Test Administration Manuals • Verify/Adjust the number of printed Test Administration Manuals to be shipped for the selected participating school • For each grade or assessment, you are asked to enter the following counts: • Online — verify/adjust expected number of online testers • Braille — enter expected number of accommodated testers using a paper Braille test book. • Large Print — enter expected number of accommodated testers using a paper large-print test book. • Other Paper — enter expected number of accommodated testers using a paper test booklet due to other IEP documented disabilities • Choose Save to save your work and return later or Complete if all of your entry is complete. 36

Enrollments – School level • The Status tab displays the overall status of enrollment data entry. • For each school, it notes if enrollments are Not Started, In Progress, or Completed. • Confirm that all sites with enrollments are accurate, save any necessary changes, and mark as Completed. 39

  40. Additional Materials • If you discover, after receiving the materials that you order through the Enrollment process, that you need additional materials. You can order these through the Additional Materials system • The Additional Materials System will be open November 4, 2019 – January 7, 2020 • Access the system in eDIRECT\Materials\Additional Materials\Add order 40

Students – Add/View/Edit Accommodations • Step 1: Activate/Assign Accommodation Prior to Student Login • IMPORTANT -- Be sure to enter accommodations beforeprinting test tickets! • Some accommodations require specific test forms, which are assigned when students are placed into test sessionsand reassigned when accommodations are entered. If you enter accommodations after printing test tickets, be sure to check if the password has been regenerated and reprint as needed. Activate Accommodations and Form Prior to Student Use 44

Students – Multiple Student Upload • Online Indicator field must be set to "Y" • Newly submitted records will be matched against existing records  • based on System Code, Last Name, Date of Birth and GTID • New records will be added to eDIRECT • Students must be placed into Online Test Sessions • Based on Course and Teacher • Existing records will be updated with latest information • Students with teacher updates will be removed from existing test sessions and added to new test sessions if the students have not started testing 49

  50. Students – Reminder! Be sure that any updates you make to students in eDIRECT (one-by-one or via Multiple Student Upload) are also made in your local student information system! 50
