Inspire Programme An innovative programme sponsored and managed by the Department of Science & Technology for attraction of talent to Science Launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on 13th December 2008. INSPIRE Programme covers students in the age group 10-32 years. Objective:- Attract talent to the study of science at an early age and build the required critical human resource pool for strengthening and expanding the Science & Technology system and R&D base.

About INSPIRE • Components: • SEATS (Scheme for Early Attraction of Talents for Science) • INSPIRE award of Rs. 5000/- • Mentorship through Global Science Leaders at camp • SHE (Scholarship for Higher Education) • Scholarship of Rs. 80,000/- for continuing education at B.Sc/M.Sc • AORC (Assured Opportunity for Research Career) • INSPIRE Fellowship • INSPIRE Faculty
