  2. Delta A delta is a low, watery land formed at the mouth of a river.

  4. Swamp A swamp is a low area of land that is always or sometimes saturated with water.

  5. Marsh An area of soft, wet, low-lying land, characterized by grassy vegetation and often forming a transition zone between water and land.

  6. Harbor A place on the coast where vessels may find shelter, esp. one protected from rough water by piers, jetties, and other artificial structures.

  7. Cape a point or extension of land jutting out into water

  8. Sea Level the level of the surface of the sea especially at its mean position midway between mean high and low water
