  2. School Rules • Come to School on time everyday! • No cell phones. • No headphones. • Respect yourself and others. • Obey the school dress code.

  3. Classroom Rules • Be present and on time. • Be prepared with materials and assignments. • Be on task and educationally oriented. • Be respectful to all. • Come to class with a positive attitude every day  !

  4. 1. Be present and on time. • Sit in your assigned seat before the late bell rings. • Begin working on your Do Now immediately when the bell rings.

  5. 2. Be prepared with materials and assignments. • Algebra Workbook • Algebra Notebook • 3-ring binder • Folder • Pencil • Homework

  6. 3. Be on task and educationally oriented. • Focus on your work. • Keep socializing to a minimum.

  7. 4. Be respectful to all. No profanity!! No Bullying!! No Stealing!! No touching!!

  8. 5. Come to class with a positive attitude every day.

  9. Grading

  10. Late or Missing Assignments • Turn assignments in on time. • Earn ¾ credit for assignments the next day. • Earn ½ credit for assignments any day after that.

  11. Absences • It is your responsibility to make up the work! • You have two days to make-up for each day of absence. • For help, ask before school, after school, NOT during class.

  13. How to Succeed in Algebra 1

  14. Enter room quietly and orderly.

  15. Empty out your mailbox folder.

  16. Grab necessary materials.

  17. Sit in your assigned seat.

  18. Place your homework on your desk immediately.

  19. Do your Do Now

  20. Be on task for the entire class period.

  21. Put back all materials.

  22. Don’t talk when I talk.

  23. Stay in your assigned seat unless you have a valid reason to move about.

  24. Everyone gets a chance to show me what they know…

  25. Keep your work neat and well organized. DO DO NOT

  26. Do your own work.

  27. Work as a team when doing group work.

  28. Cell Phones, IPODs, MP3 players, etc. are PROHIBITED!

  29. Study and understand these rules….If you do, I see success in your horizon.
