Promoting Agroforestry in France: EURAF's Initiatives and Achievements

On June 4th, 2014, at the EURAF Assembly in Cottbus, Sylvie Guillerme highlighted the efforts of two national associations dedicated to promoting trees — AFAF and AFAHC. Focusing on various actions such as tree planting, public engagement, and knowledge transfer, they have successfully planted 2 million trees. The event underscored the importance of networking and collaboration with local stakeholders to enhance agroforestry systems. Through initiatives like the AGFORWARD project and active participation in lobbying, EURAF aims to integrate and elevate agroforestry at the European level.
