Meet Your Teacher • Ms. Fabela (Tiana) • Teaching experience within Manteca Unified at Neil Hafley Elementary as the READ 180/System 44 teacher. • Graduated 2014 with Bachelors in Health and Human Services, and 2018 with Masters in Elementary Education • Currently reside in Stockton with fiancé, Steven • SAS alumnus 2002! Go Roadrunners!

  4. Class Schedule • 8:00 am – 3:00 pm • PE and Library times TBD • 30 minutes, 3 times a week for Rosetta stone (part of the English Language Arts grade) • ELA and Writing (650), Math (260), Religion (200), Science (120), Social Studies (220), and PE (70)

  8. Homework • Required reading every night for at least 20 minutes. Students are allowed to choose which book they would like to read from. Parents must sign off on each night for full credit. • Math homework will be assigned Mon-Thurs as a review to what was covered in class. • Spelling and vocab test every Friday • A small assignment will be required for spelling and vocab Mon-Thurs • Missed homework due to absence • Missed assignments are the student’s responsibility • Students who are absent due to illness have ONE day for each class period absence to make-up the missed assignments, quizzes, or tests. • When a student is absent for 3 or more days due to illness, a parents may call the school office before 9 am to arrange for the pick-up of homework assignments.

Other Information • Accelerated Reader Points • 20- 1st trimester • 20- 2nd trimester • 20- 3rd trimester • =60 by the end of the year • AR Book Finder, located under “Links” on the school’s website • Can only test with teacher’s approval in class, and is not open book • Volunteers, see me • Cell phones • If caught with one (regardless if policy being signed) and was not turned in during the beginning of the day, automatic suspension. No exceptions!
