  2. Preliminaries • Pre-class (20 classwork pts.) • Conduct a Google search on how you might calculate the distance between 2 points on a number line. (HINT: start with the phrase “midpoint formula.”

  3. Review: Web Slides • Placement • Launch PowerPoint and Internet Explorer • <Print Scrn> • New Slide • Paste (<Ctrl> <V>)

  4. Objectives • Today, you will learn how to crop the PowerPoint slides they created previously from pages of your favorite websites. • You will know that you completed the lesson when you can properly crop and caption the slides you created previously.

  5. Focus Lesson: Cropping PowerPoint Slides (30 class pts.) • Launch PowerPoint. • Load the 10 slides you created yesterday from your favorite website. • Determine the main idea of the page. • Select the cropping tool. • For each slide: • Crop out everything that does not pertain to the main idea. Do this for the rest of the slides. • Write a caption beneath each slide.
