  1. Matthew 1:21-23 21  And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins." 22  So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."

  2. Isaiah 7:14; 8:3,4,8,10 Two Implications of this Prophecy; • Isaiah announced God would send a deliverer for the nations present dilemma. • Isaiah prophesied of God’s future Redeemer for the whole world’s dilemma.

  3. Names mean something worth considering: Isaiah and Shear-Jashub, your son (A remnant shall return) "Maher-shalal-hash-baz" - Immanuel, God with Us.

  4. GOD WITH US: (What does that mean to us) The Creator is come to earth to live in human form. The Word of the Lord took upon human form: The Glory of the God became a man: Grace and Truth became a human instrument: The Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of humanity: The Resurrection, Victor over sin, death and hell has arrived: The King has come:
