Objectives: 8.P.2.1/2.2 -TSWU the different types of natural energy resources. Essential Question: -Which energy resource is the most efficient and causes the least amount of pollution in the environment?

  4. Warm Up January 31 Directions: If the statement is false rewrite the statement to make it true. Do not just write true or false… • T/F: The same forces that have changed earth in the past are still changing the earth today and will continue to change the earth in the future. • T/F: Half lives of elements can be used to determine the relative ages of rocks and fossils. • T/F: The use of living organisms to create products and tools that make life easier is known as biotechnology.

Can you provide an example? • How do nonrenewable resources relate to the amount of greenhouse gases found in our atmosphere? Where can we find past evidence of this? Objectives: 8.P.2.1/2.2 -TSWU the different types of natural energy resources. Essential Question: -Which energy resource is the most efficient and causes the least amount of pollution in the environment?

  7. Warm Up and Spiral February 2 Directions: If the statement is false rewrite the statement to make it true. Do not just write true or false… • T/F: Fossil fuels come directly from fossils. • T/F: There is no evidence that global warming has occurred on our planet in the past.
