  2. SLIDE 2 – TEAM 5 Profile • What attracts you to the study of Architecture? • “I view architecture as a work of art with space of opportunity. It’s a field where I can make someone happy by my thoughts to reality .”Syndi Wilkinson • “I enjoy using photography to capture the different elements of architecture.”Nita Velasquez • “Architecture is a passion where I seek beauty, space and functionality. I enjoy brainstorming my ideas using photography, design, painting and build.”Debora Tannenbaum • “Architecture is a field where I can express my creativity with rules but no guidelines.”Jeffrey Rodriguez

  4. PROGRAM • The size of a college gym must be 94’ long by 50 wide • GYM FLEX has the playability, and feel of hardwood, without the hardwood price. • Heavy Gauge Surface Structure No Wax Finish (reduces visibility of marks and skid marks, and therefore, maintenance) • Precise Tight Connectors - Virtually Seamless • Reduced Noise (thickest surface in its class) • Retrofits over existing floors • Low maintenance cost • Highest Performance-to-Price ratio in its class

  5. PROGRAM 2 being that I want to have an multi-purpose gym I will need equipment for these following sports • Basket ball • Volley ball • An indoor track • Soccer

  6. Lighting • I want to have nature light as well as stonco lighting • Stonco provides a choice of traditional highbay luminaries in multiple sizes or the new low-profile T-Bay series for even, energy-efficient operation. Fixtures include protective lens coverings to prevent optical damage and for occupant safety.

  7. Ventilation • I will like to use relief vents and paddle fans that allow building operators to take advantage of the natural air currents thus minimize the need to use mechanical heating and cooling equipment.
