H&SProcedures The H&S Procedures cover our procedures for:SHE Policies, Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessment, Method Statement, Subcontractor Assessment, Inductions, Accidents & Near Miss Reporting and Investigations, Statutory Inspections & Registers, Site Inspections and Non-compliances, Permits to Work, COSHH Assessments, Manual Handling – Noise – HAVS, Consultation, Temporary Works, Lifting Operations, Site Office Fire Plans, Environment, Working at Height, Asbestos and Site Discipline.THE PROCEDURES ARE MANDATORY AND MUST BE FOLLOWED WITHOUT EXCEPTION

Fire Evacuation Procedure Ensure you sign IN and OUT of your location, Leave the building by the safest possible route DO NOT use the lift in the event of an emergency On leaving the building proceed to the fire assembly point The assembly point is located………………………………………….. DO NOT leave the assembly point until told to do so DO NOT re-enter the building until told to do so
  7. Fire Emergencies In case a fire breaks out Get to know your escape routes and extinguisher locations
  8. First Aid First Aiders can be found in all office locations as well as on all our sites Ensure you check the notice board to find out who are the appointed persons. In this building the accident book is held by the office manager
  9. Training needs analysis We need a copy of all your training certificates We can then match these to our training matrix to enable us to determine if you require any further training etc These will be returned to you immediately once they have been photocopied
  10. Skill Cards Do you have a CSCS or Skill Card?
  11. Personal Protective Equipment The minimum PPE your must wear on site is: Hard Hat High-Viz Vest/Jacket Light Eye Protection Gloves Safety Footwear PPE can be obtained from ????
  12. Certain tasks may require different PPE, if in doubt ask. i.e You may need higher grade eye protection depending on the task etc
  13. We operate a NO SMOKING Policy in all offices and sites
  14. Food Food should only normally be consumed in designated areas away from any site operations
  15. Environmental Remember, things we do today to protect the environment will ensure its’ sustainability for future generations. Little things like: Minimise waste, use both sides of paper. Recycle waste materials. Switch off lights and heaters that are not in use. Switch off printers, photo copiers etc. that are not in use. Recycle printer cartridges. Don’t leave taps running.
